Day 1967 - 7th October 2013

Almost finished, except for 7 or 8 boards.  We've even put a few plants in place. We are very happy with the result.

Photos galore

Leylandii conifers planted 14th September - just before the big rain came.  I'm looking forward to see them grow.  More to plant in the next few weeks.

Garrie thought he should go through the front door on his tractor. Just kidding. He's getting the ground level right in preparation for the front deck.

Hearth for Fireplace

The hearth for the fireplace was installed yesterday. "Indian Jet Black" granite.

Deluge at Royalla

Over 100mm of rain fell in the last 24 to 30 hours.

It's boggy and muddy everywhere. But I'm not complaining. Both the shed water tank (10,000 litres) and the house water tank (120,000 litres) are full. Even the dam is full and over flowing.

The rain came at a perfect time, as we had just planted 18 trees a couple of days ago.

Grand Opening of the Chicken Coop

The chicken coop is finally finished and commissioned yesterday.  It looks great and it's certainly big and spacious.

The chickens seem to like their new home. But only one laid an egg today. Perhaps the excitement of moving was just too much for them.
