The fascia and guttering are installed! It's great to see the outline of the roof and eaves.
The stone chimney and blade wall are practically completed. They look fabulous.

Counting down to moving day
It's only three weeks before the shed at Royalla officially becomes home sweet home. Completion of the shed is progressing well. Yet, we still have the occasional panic moments, especially when we think of the enormous task of moving from our Fadden house. It's been home for 30+ years for GG, 17 years for me and forever for our kids. You can imagine just how much belongings we own, some of which I don't even recall acquiring. Our challenge is moving to a smaller space, at least temporarily. Right now, I can think of a movie title "Honey, how do I shrink our stuff?"
As at today, most of the essentials are set up at the shed. Water on tap, floor, blinds, lounge and of course, stereo, TV and just quietly, X-Box. All we need now is is a shower screen and for the septic tank man to commission the sewerage system.

House progress
The house has progressed so much since my last blog post.
A lot of the windows are in place.
The external brick walls have started.
The chimney frame is up.
The stonemasons have started on the stone blade wall
All very exciting and we can begin to appreciate the architectural features.
