House Slab Revealed

The plastic cover was lifted off the house slab today. The slab looks great!

The builders were hard at work today, with Ella the dog supervising them.

I should mention that the house slab was poured on Friday. Just in time before the big storm came.

Shed Progress

This weekend, I started to paint the ceiling while Garrie worked on sheeting the bathroom walls.
My parents in law have got to be the best in laws in the world! They pay us regular visits when we work at the shed, delivering lunch at the same time, as well as lending a bit of elbow grease. Love them!
The kids came equipped with their laptops and Dylan played his guitar.

Ceiling sheets

Rain water tank

On a very hot 36 degrees day, we rolled the rain water tank up the hill, down a slope, used the tractor to upright it, pushed it around a bit and finally, it was installed! Better still, it rained that evening. Yay!
